Its been a while since I blogged and I closed down my old blogs a wee while ago, now I am back and sharing a bit more of my life when I am not in New Zealand.  Over the last few years I have been lucky enough to travel relatively frequently.   Funnily enough I bought a house and have done more travel than I ever would have anticipated....

Seven years ago I visited the UK and did a couple of tours around Europe.  I wanted to have a white Christmas - It rained the whole time but i got the travel bug instead.  I was lucky enough to make some great new friends some of who I am still in contact with.

4 years ago I crammed in another trip, UK, Spain, Portugal and Morocco.  Another great experience with some more great new friends. 


3 years ago I did my first cruise, flying to Perth and then jumping on board the Sun Princess to sail around Indonesia.  I Met Julz and Horace and laughed my head off for the entire cruise.  staying up later in the bar and laughing.  Getting to see places i probably wouldn't ever fly to just because of the heat

I had a two year break while i spent time with my sister hoping she would win the fight against the pervasive cancer invading her body.  Rebuilding our relationship in time to be with her as she breathed her last.

I then saved like crazy and in September last year I went on a back to back cruise on the Golden Princess.  Flying to LA and getting on board in San Pedro to take a 12 day cruise to Alaska and back to LA and then a 22 day cruise from LA to Auckland. 

Now I am planning my next get-away - another cruise again on the Golden Princess.  This time around the south pacific - Fiji, New Calidonia and Vanuatu with a 7 day visit from Melbourne to Adelaide and return at the end.  So excited as I will get to catch up with Julz from my first cruise.
